Toys R Us & Babies R Us Trade-In Event
From Friday, August 24 through Sunday, September 16, Babies"R"Us and Toys"R"Us stores nationwide are holding the "Great Trade-In" event, providing our customers the opportunity to trade-in any used car seats, bassinets, strollers, travel systems, play yards, high chairs, walkers, activity jumpers, swings, bouncers or entertainers in exchange for 25% off the purchase of any new baby item, in any of these product categories, from select manufacturers.
The "Great Trade-In" event places an emphasis on specific baby products, such as car seats that, due to safety concerns, may not be the best candidates to be handed down or resold. Beyond recalls, certain older and used baby items can be potentially unsafe for a variety of reasons.
Visit your local Babies"R"Us or Toys"R"Us store to trade-in your used car seat, stroller or other qualifying baby product. Day care centers or other organizations that wish to exchange items in bulk are encouraged to contact their local Babies"R"Us or Toys"R"Us store prior to returning their used items to ensure adequate availability of new merchandise.

Walgreens Balance Rewards Program
Here's the information from a Walgreens representative:
The program is simple: just sign up and start saving. You will be able to instantly earn and redeem points for thousands of items in store and online and receive exclusive savings. Balance Rewards will include many of the best aspects of existing loyalty programs and have distinct features that competitors do not match, including:
-Members can earn points for making healthy choices, such as getting an immunization or participating in Walk with Walgreens (walk.walgreens.com).
-A lenient, customer-friendly expiration policy – points will not expire as long as members remain active by shopping at Walgreens at least once every six months and redeem their points within three years.
-Members may earn and redeem points for both in store and online purchases.
-Exclusive benefits for AARP members.
The current Register Rewards program, will be able to be used those in conjunction with the Balance Rewards program (until Register Rewards are no longer available).

The program officially kicks off on September the 16th, 2012. You will be able to register in-store starting then.
