The best tomatoes come from Tomato Country, according to Red Gold’s website.
“We grow the best tomatoes because we have an unbeatable combination of soil and climate. For example, we have the ideal growing temperature, which is about 85 degrees. And, like you and me, tomatoes like regular showers, which they get plenty of here in Tomato Country. Fact is, our Red Gold Tomatoes are so full of natural goodness that they’ll make our meals even tastier.”
And I must say, I do agree. I tried out the diced tomatoes, tomatoes & green chilies and the jalapeno ketchup. I used the tomatoes & green chilies in my chili. They added just the right heat and flavor without being too much tomato taste. My husband is partial to the jalapeno ketchup. He likes it on his fries and hot dogs.
They also sent me a great recipe book. I cooked the Cheese Tortellini and Vegetables last week. My girls ate it up. I try to do two meals a week without meat and this is a great addition to our recipe rotation. I have trouble following any recipe, but I stuck pretty close to this one. Tomorrow night I am making their Taco Soup. Click here for the recipes and how I adapted them to my liking.
Red Gold is generous to offer two readers free Red Gold Tomatoes Products.
